How Our Rankings Work
A company with one 5-trophy review hasn't built the same track record as a company with dozens of consistently positive reviews.
That's why our rankings consider both the overall rating and the number of reviews behind that rating.
A company with a 5.0-trophy rating based on just one review won't automatically rank above a company with a 4.8-trophy rating based on 29 reviews.
The larger number of reviews gives us more information about traders' overall experience and makes that rating more established.
As More Reviews Come In
As a company receives more reviews, its actual average rating carries more weight in its ranking.
This means companies build their ranking over time through consistent feedback from the RankProps community rather than reaching the top based on only one or two reviews.
Your Rating Isn't Changed
If traders have rated a company 4.8 trophies, you'll still see 4.8 displayed on RankProps.
Our ranking system simply considers how many reviews are behind that score when deciding where companies appear in the rankings.
Why We Do It This Way
This helps prevent a company from jumping straight to the top after receiving only one or two perfect reviews, while rewarding companies that build a strong rating across a larger number of trader experiences.
As a company receives more reviews, its ranking becomes increasingly based on the rating provided by the RankProps community.
