Apex Trader Funding has a solid platform with a wide variety of account options to choose from, but the overall cost can get pretty expensive. To be honest, I still have doubts about whether they have hidden rules in their fine print, especially with how many stories you hear about traders getting their payouts rejected. It’s a decent firm on paper, but those payout denial concerns definitely make you hesitate before fully committing.

My experience with Apex Trader Funding has not been as bad as a lot of other people's experience. I have passed a bunch of their accounts before and after they started offering EOD accounts. Payout Reliability: I gave them 4 cups for reliability because I did not have any issues receiving my payout. They dis not pay me as fast as other firms but I was not denied and had no issues. Payout Difficulty: I did not have any difficulty receiving my payout. I requested my payout through the dashboard and once it was approved, it was sent. Platform and Support: The platform was not bad but support was a bit on the slow side. I sent the support team a message before I went on vacation and they did not respond until an entire month later. That is entirely too long. Value for Cost: I do like the value that get for the cost of their accounts. The evaluations are pretty cheap and you have the option of buying no activation fee. They sometimes have discounts on activation as well. Rule Transparency: Here is the biggest issue that I have with Apex. Their rules are fully transparent. You really have to read their rules thoroughly and ask them to clarify if you don't understand something. My Final Thoughts: Although I have never had any major issues with Apex, so many other people have. Issues with denied payouts to problems with live accounts. I also was an affiliate with them at one point and they just ended our partnership without even telling me. It was for the better though. With other more trusted prop firms available, I don't think that I will be using Apex again unless I get desperate.

Apex one of the OG firms. There has been drama with this firm. But I didnt experience the effects of it. Maybe because im a small fish and only take modest payouts with very little copytrading no turn and burn type of trading with them. My personal experience with them has been good.

Apex was the first firm I got a payout from. But after getting a payout, I was not allowed to purchase an account for about a year until they revamped. Support did not provide any meaningful response to questions about why I cannot purchase new accounts then. There are alot of news about Apex since. I got a payout so I am not dismissing Apex, but I will probably get accounts from other props and will get an account from Apex last once I have all the accounts I can get from other props.

Apex is probably where most of the older prop traders started and got burnt, one would expect a company to improve over time but apparently not. Only useful if you larp on social media for clout with the 20x allowed accounts.

Apex Trader Funding has made improvements to its product offerings to stay in tune with the Prop Industry. I really do like the CEO who runs this Prop; you can find a recent interview with him on YouTube. I have used APEX for 3 years, taking advantage of their 90% Eval sales. I hope they will offer Straight To Funded Accounts soon. I believe that with APEX, it will never hurt for a beginner to use this Prop for practice and to get paid. This Prop Firm is very functional and has a positive community on Facebook.

Apex, oh where shall I begin. At the start of my trading career I was hypnotized by their sales. Deals, deals, deals. I spent far too long with them before I walked away. I used them when they had only monthly subscriptions and activation fees. Things were so cheap that you'd buy a bunch and forget to cancel if you blew them and oops here's your huge renewal fee. They changed rules and I didn't feel like they were going to be a firm I wanted a relationship with. I wouldn't recommend Apex to a new trader.
