Terms of Use

RankProps is a free, independent review platform built for traders to evaluate prop trading firms, brokers, trading platforms, and education providers — without affiliate links or pay-to-rank placements. When we say "the platform," we mean RankProps.com, any related subdomain, app, or tool we operate, and everything on it: reviews, ratings, our Risk/Reward Gauge scores, comments, images, and other content.

Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") before using RankProps. They tell you what we expect from you and what you can expect from us. These Terms incorporate, by reference:

• Our Privacy Policy, covering what data we collect and how we use it (see Section 12).
• Our Reviewer Guidelines, which set out how reviews should and shouldn't be written (see Section 5).
• Any other published rules or policies on our legal pages (see Section 5).

• Who "you" and "we" are: "You" means anyone browsing, using, or accessing RankProps, including through automated tools such as bots or AI agents. "We," "us," and "RankProps" mean the operating entity described in Section 27.
• Third-party links: We may reference or link to prop firms, brokers, platforms, or other outside services. We don't control, endorse, or guarantee anything about them, and we aren't responsible for your dealings with them. We also can't promise RankProps will work perfectly on every browser or device.
• Creating an account: Browsing is open to everyone, but to write a review, comment, vote on a review, or enter a giveaway, you'll need an account. One account per person. Accounts can't be transferred or shared. You can sign up using a supported social login or with your email and a verification code. Some accounts may be pre-filled with your name if you arrive via a review invitation link.
• Choosing a username: You'll pick a display name shown alongside anything you post. Using your real name may reveal your identity, so choose carefully. Usernames may not contain hateful, obscene, illegal, or discriminatory language; the words "Admin," "Guest," "RankProps," or similar; or another person's name or identifying details.
• Your responsibilities for your account: Keep your login credentials to yourself, notify us right away if you think your account's been compromised, keep your contact details current, and know that you're responsible for everything posted or done through your account. You can update your username anytime from account settings.
• Optional verification: For giveaways or verified-reviewer status, you may choose to verify your identity or trading account by submitting a photo ID and other confirming details. This is handled per our Privacy Policy.

By using RankProps, you agree to:

• Follow these Terms, our Reviewer Guidelines, and any other posted policies.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Never attempt to compromise the platform's security or stability.
• Avoid anything that could disrupt the site or interfere with other users.
• Never upload malware, viruses, or malicious code.
• Never write, submit, buy, sell, or otherwise arrange fake reviews — meaning reviews that don't reflect a real, firsthand experience with a company, or that are posted to manipulate ratings or unfairly damage a business.
• Avoid content that's misleading, unlawful, infringing, or that breaks our Reviewer Guidelines.
• Not reverse-engineer, decompile, copy, or extract source code from any part of the platform.
• Treat our staff, partners, and other users with basic respect — abuse or harassment of our team, including support staff, won't be tolerated.
• Not use RankProps for advertising or self-promotion, including promoting yourself, a company, or a product through a review.
• Not build a competing product or service using our platform.
• Not link to RankProps in a way that implies a partnership or endorsement that doesn't exist.
• Not sell, sublicense, rent, or commercially exploit the platform itself (this doesn't restrict your rights over your own content, covered in Section 7).
• Not scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk-collect content from RankProps by automated or manual means without our written permission — including for training AI models — except through any method we explicitly provide.

You must also follow our Reviewer Guidelines and any other policies we publish. We may revise these at any time without advance notice, and updates apply to you immediately — no separate acceptance required.

Other than what's described in Section 6, RankProps owns or licenses all intellectual property in the platform, including our software, trademarks, database rights, trade secrets, Risk/Reward Gauge methodology, and the overall design and feel of the site. You may not copy, reuse, or repurpose our intellectual property — including scores, rankings, or reviews written by others — unless we've explicitly authorized it.

Content you create and post — reviews, comments, photos, and anything else ("your content") — remains yours, and you're responsible for it. You confirm you have the rights needed to post it. Unless we remove it for violating our rules, or you delete it yourself (including by closing your account per Section 15), your content stays published on RankProps and may continue to appear through third-party services like search engines indefinitely.

By posting content on RankProps, you give us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, copy, adapt, distribute, publish, and display it, and to create derivative works from it, without further permission or payment. This includes letting us share your content with partner companies or services for syndication, promotion, or distribution. You also authorize us to pursue copyright claims against anyone who uses your content without proper permission.

We may collect and generate data about how the platform is used — analytics, trends, and insights drawn from reviews, ratings, and browsing behavior ("usage data"). This usage data, and anything we derive from it, belongs to RankProps, and we can use it for any lawful purpose, including improving our tools and building new features.

If you send us suggestions, ideas, or feedback about RankProps, we're free to use them however we like, without owing you credit or compensation.

Check our Help Center first if something's not working as expected. If that doesn't solve it, reach out to our support team using the contact details in Section 24.

RankProps only works if reviews are honest and independent. When posting, you agree to share genuine, unbiased experiences that follow our Reviewer Guidelines. Anything posted by users reflects that user's own opinion — not RankProps'.

Any personal data we collect through your use of RankProps is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

If you share confidential information with us, or learn something confidential about us, both sides agree to take reasonable steps to protect it from unauthorized disclosure — except where we share it with affiliated companies, where the law or a court requires disclosure, or in connection with legal proceedings. For clarity, your posted content, feedback, and platform usage data are not considered confidential.

If you breach these Terms, our Reviewer Guidelines, or other policies — or we reasonably believe you're about to — we may remove or filter your content without prior notice. Repeated violations may lead to suspension or termination of your account. Where practical, we'll give you reasonable notice first.

You can delete your account whenever you like. Doing so removes your ability to post reviews going forward, and your existing reviews will be deleted from the platform.

To the extent the law allows, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless RankProps, its officers, employees, and contractors against third-party claims — including government investigations — arising from your unlawful use of the platform or breach of these Terms.

Most issues can be sorted out quickly by contacting support (Section 24). If we can't resolve something informally, any claims will be brought in the jurisdiction identified in Section 27.

We may revise these Terms at any time without individual notice. It's your responsibility to check back periodically — continued use of RankProps after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of RankProps at any time for business or operational reasons, without notice or liability to you.

We won't be liable for delays or failures caused by events reasonably outside our control.

If any part of these Terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Words like "including," "such as," and "for example" are illustrative, not limiting, and any reference to our discretion means our sole discretion.

These Terms are written in English. If we ever provide a translated version, it's for convenience only — the English version controls in the event of any conflict, and we're not responsible for translation errors.

Our decision not to enforce a particular provision at any given time doesn't waive our right to enforce it later.

These Terms, and any dispute related to them, are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree that any dispute not resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, except where local consumer protection law entitles you to bring a claim in your own place of residence — in which case this section applies to the fullest extent still permitted there.
